Financial difficulties due to COVID-19 Crisis

We are aware that many businesses and individuals, including some of our tenants, are concerned about the status of their finances. In the same way, we have to meet our financial obligations towards our employees, contractors and suppliers, allowing them to continue to pay their employees’ wages. Our banks and investors also require that we continue to honor our commitments.

We encourage everyone affected by this crisis to go on the Canada Government website which has plenty of information regarding the measures put in place for employees laid off due to COVID-19, for sick and quarantined individuals as well as self-employed and people not eligible for employment insurance.

The new Canada Emergency Response Benefit will be available through a secure web portal from the beginning of April to help everyone concerned.

New measures will be put in place for small and medium-sized businesses to enable them to maintain the employment link with their employees.

Support for students and new graduates is also available.
