The 5th edition of the Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Foundation Golf Tournament took place on June 17. Cromwell, a long-time supporter of the foundation, whose vocation is the educational success of young people in Quebec, was proud to present this exceptional event, which set a new record: $346,755 was raised to support the foundation’s efforts.
The funds raised will be used to continue the implementation of “The 6th Period” program, the very first free, after-school program for young people in the third cycle of elementary school. This program promotes a balance between the arts, sports and studies, giving young people equal opportunities to succeed in school.
To all those who participated in any way in this event, to the partners, organizers and golfers, thank you for making this day the perfect opportunity to show our support for our young people from Quebec’s vulnerable and disadvantaged populations.
The Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Foundation offers art and sports programs to young people in schools, enabling them to develop their curiosity, creativity, self-esteem and perseverance, and thereby fostering their educational success and personal fulfillment.
Cromwell has been involved with the Foundation in its various projects and initiatives since the very beginning, and firmly believes in the positive impact it will have on the future of Quebec’s young people.
