The owner of Cromwell Management met with two important representatives of the Contactivity Center organization to unveil the totality of the profits from the 2021 summer collected by the ice cream shop “Le Bilboquet Westmount.”
The atmosphere was festive on November 17 at the Sherbrooke Street West location as Executive Director Benita Goldin and Board President John Bailey accepted a cheque of $30,000 on behalf of the seniors’ services organization.
After the previous tenant renounced and ceased to operate the business in October 2020, Mr. Gantcheff took the initiative to continue the activities to create small opportunities of happiness in the community in these times of pandemic. A wonderful team of young students joined the owner’s son throughout the summer to serve the famous ice cream and contribute to this wonderful project that is the Contactivity Center.
The meeting ended on a touching note when Mr. Bailey presented the owner with an artwork he created himself, symbolizing a moment he captured at Le Bilboquet and sketched last summer. The painting was immediately hung on the wall of “L’Artisan Glacier.”
