The cleaner is responsible for ensuring that the common areas, building grounds and administrative office are kept clean and neat at all times. His/Her work is a central element in the quality of Client service He/She must :
- Sweep and mop entrances, stairs, emergency exits and hallways;
- Vacuum all carpets in the building;
- Clean elevator doors, interior partitions, mirrors, and floor rails
- Dust window edges, post office boxes, stair railings and all other surfaces likely to collect dust;
- Wash windows and mirrors in common areas;
- Keep the garages and the exterior entrance to the building clean and clear, making sure to pick up trash, leaves and snow. Clean as needed;
- Take out garbage and recycling and clean the bins regularly;
- Clean and disinfect all common and administrative areas;
- Clean completely the laundry room and appliances (washers and dryers);
- Clean light fixtures and chandeliers in common areas;
- Assist the Superintendent during emergency calls or any other necessary assistance;
- Report to his/her supervisor any irregularity or repairs to be made;
- All other related tasks
